Meteor's Racing Division development and design focus is to build pistons that are stronger & and more durable, pistons that really last and perform. It’s easily seen in Meteor’s exclusive bracing which is built into in the high stress areas of their pistons.

Meteor's internal bracing strengthens the piston in the most critical areas.This bracing adds support to the pistons thrust faces and decreasing friction in the piston’s pin boss. Meteor also uses a special molybdenum disolphure long-life coating which helps to decease heat, provides excellent sliding properties, therefore lowering friction and increasing piston-to-cylinder life. The outcome is a piston that is built stronger-better, more durable that produces more power.
